Michael Seater is a name you may or may not have heard of before. It is however a name that may certainly be in all of the mags and in the hearts of little girls inside no time. Michael Seater all prepared has a following of young girls who admire him ; it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the world gets to know who he is.
Born as Michael Bruce Patrick Seater on January 15, 1987, this Canadian actor has had an effect as soon as he was ready to walk. At one peek of his list of television appearances and you would think that he has been acting since birth. While he has not been on television that long, he’s been around some time. With over 20 different TV series under his belt, sometimes appearing in several episodes for each, he’s quickly making a name for himself in Hollywood.
However, acting isn’t where Michael Seater draws the line. He has also shown a great interest in writing television shows. Under his belt, he has written one episode of “Family Biz” and 2 different episodes of “Life with Derek”.
While he’s been on “Life with Derek”, “On Thin Ice,” and “The Zack Files”, Michael’s latest project would be “18 to Life”. In a total of 6 episodes, Michael plays Tom Bellow. Most likely, if you cannot place his face now, you may when you see the show.
It is easy to see that Michael has worked really tough to get to where he’s. He attended the Etobicoke school of the arts, which helped to mildew him into the wonderfully accomplished writer and actor that he is today. With 1 or 2 more roles under his belt, he could well turn into Hollywood’s hottest young actors.
With all this, it shouldn’t surprise you that Michael Seater has been designated for three awards, although he is yet to win any. In 2006, he was nominated for two awards. One was for Best Young Ensemble Performance in a television Series for the Young Artist Award. This was for his part on "life with Derek". Additionally, in 2006, he was designated for a Gemini Award for the Best Performance in a Children’s or Youth Program or Series, again, for “Life with Derek”.
In 2008, Seater was designated for his part on “ReGenesis”. It was a Gemini Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Guest Role Dramatic Series. It’s only a matter of time before this nominated actor starts winning the awards right and left.
A closer look into the private life of Michael Seater will show you that he is just an average guy. His favourite flick is Grease and he would really like to someday surf the Australian waves. He owns two dogs.Cricket and Joe are their names, and likes to chill and listen to funk music.
